Emetoh, et al. v. FedEx Freight Inc. (USDC Northern District No. 4:17-cv-07272-YGR): On October 22, 2020 settlement of $3.25 million was reached in a class action matter involving truck drivers and their employer, FedEx Freight. Lead plaintiff Theodore Emetoh filed a wage-and-hour action alleging that he and other class members were not properly compensated for hours worked and did not receive compliant meal periods and rests. Plaintiff additionally alleged that they were not reimbursed for expenses, and that they were not provided with compliant wage statements. Plaintiff was represented by the Setareh Law Group.
