The Santa Clarita Business Journal has recently written about the growth that has been occurring at our law firm, Poole Shaffery . The publication's recent news article discussed our firm's recent hiring of a new partner, as well as our addition of a new office last year in Walnut Creek. Bringing Attorney Hunt Braly (the new partner) to our legal team allows us to boost our ability to help clients with legal matters that involve land-use issues and governmental affairs.
The business journal reported on our steps of "beefing up" our firm in its article titled "Toyota Acceleration Claims Lead to Job Break," which covered recent happenings at multiple law firms in the greater Santa Clarita area. Our firm, which has a Santa Clarita office, was highlighted in the section of the article called "Growing Santa Clarita Firm."
Attorney Hunt serves as a valuable asset at our firm. Because of the fact that he has extensive experience practicing land use, development and real estate law, he is able to help our law firm strengthen our services in the areas of governmental affairs and land-use work. In the Santa Clarita Business Journal article, our firm's managing partner, John Shaffery, was quoted as saying that one of the firm's growing areas has been determining how to work with certain types of regulations and that Attorney Braly brings experience to the firm. Currently, Mr. Braly serves as the head of our Land Use and Government Affairs practice groups.
The article provided an overview of Mr. Braly's background. Part of the lawyer's practice has included working on real estate-related legal matters in Santa Clarita and nearby communities. Some of his clients have included Henry Mayo Hospital, a hospital in Santa Clarita that needed assistance during its approval process; and Casden Properties LLC, which was working on an attempted development on a property within Santa Clarita, as noted in the article. This meshes well with our firm, considering that real estate law is among our many practice areas.
In addition to Mr. Braly's experience as a lawyer, he has also worked in politics. He previously served in the role of chief of staff to former California State Sen. Ed Davis (1983-1992), and he also ran for the Assembly twice (1990 and 1992). The lawyer is also a registered lobbyist.
Aside from the hiring of a new partner, the opening of our Walnut Creek office last year has also served as a method for growing our firm. We now have five offices in Southern California, as well as a total of 19 lawyers. We are able to help clients resolve a broad scope of business law issues. If you need help with a legal matter that has to do with your business or corporation, do not hesitate to contact a Santa Clarita business attorney from our firm!
