PAGA Wage & Hour Claim Filed Against Trucking Company Results in $9.4 Million Settlement

Mark Buford, on behalf of the general public v. Estenson Logistics, LLC., et al. (San Bernadino Super Ct. No. CIVSB2133332) On September 23, 2024 defendant Estenson Logistics, LLC agreed to the terms of a $9.4 million settlement to resolve the class action wage and hour claims made by lead plaintiff Mark Buford. Plaintiffs alleged violations of labor law violations including failure to pay minimum wages; overtime wages; failure to provide meal and rest periods; failure to reimburse; failure to pay final wages and failure to provide wage statements. The parties resolved this matter after attending mediation. Plaintiffs were represented by James Hawkins APLC. Defendant was represented by Proskauer Rose LLP.
