Herring v. Costco Wholesale Corporation, et al. (Riverside Super Ct. No. RIC2004176): On July 20, 2023 a jury in Riverside County awarded plaintiff Taadhineka Herring $3.5 million in damages in a case where the car he was driving was rear ended by a Costco employee operating a truck. Plaintiff alleged that Costco employee Andrew Padilla negligently caused the accident when his truck slammed into Plaintiff’s vehicle that was stopped at a red light, causing a multitude of injuries which eventually required a one level lumbar fusion. Prior to the verdict, defendant denied liability and dispute Plaintiff’s alleged damages. Plaintiff was represented by Levin & Nalbandyan, LLP.
