Navy Federal Credit Union Settles Wage and Hour Class Action for $2.75 Million

Daniel Yvabez v. Navy Federal Credit Union: (San Diego Super Court No. 37-2019-00016815-CU-OE-CTL): On June 2, 2022 Navy Federal Credit Union agreed to the terms of a $2.75 million settlement to resolve a class-action lawsuit filed by lead plaintiff Daniel Ybanez regarding wage and hour claims. Plaintiffs alleged that the defendant failed to pay overtime wages, provide meal and rest period premiums, comply with wage statement requirements and failed to reimburse employees for business expenses for a period between March 2015 and August 2021. Prior to accepting the terms of the settlement, defendant denied all contentions. Plaintiffs were represented by the Justice Law Corporation.
